Opis
Are e-cigarettes less harmful than traditional ones? Thanks to professor Andrzej Sobczak, we know the answer to this question, and this answer is positive. In his book, ‘1500 times less. Electronic cigarettes in the light of scientific research’, professor Sobczak – a prominent specialist in the area of toxicology, has compared i.a. the content of carcinogenic compounds in tobacco smoke and in the aerosol generated by e-cigarettes and has analyzed the flavor substances added to nicotine liquids. He has also paid attention to the issue of overdosing nicotine as a result of using e-cigarettes and to the analysis of passive inhaling of aerosol. The result of his work, based on many years of research and analyzes of international publications, is an outstandingly interesting book which challenges most of the stereotypes related to the electronic ‘vape’. The conclusion of the book is clear: “E-cigarettes are not completely safe, but they are undoubtedly less harmful than conventional cigarettes”.
